The 1920s Kimball pipe organ at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral was completed after a two-and-a-half year restoration by Spencer Organ Company. The restored organ was debuted and rededicated with a performance by organist Paul Jacobs Saturday, November 5th, 2011.

The 1920s Kimball pipe organ at St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral was completed after a two-and-a-half year restoration by Spencer Organ Company. The restored organ was debuted and rededicated with a performance by organist Paul Jacobs Saturday, November 5th, 2011. This video shows Eric Plutz playing the organ at St. John’s Cathedral, a Kimball organ restored by Spencer Organ Company. The musician recorded his CD “Pro Organo” on this organ in May 2012.

In this video, Eric Plutz, the Princeton University Organist, is seen performing classical organ works during his May, 2012, recording sessions for the new CD release on Pro Organo, entitled Denver Jubilee. Mr. Plutz relates his personal background as a musician at the Denver Cathedral.
